Electro/Synth/Hyperpop artist Slayyyter is probably on track into her official break out moment. I don't really want to jinx it, but her 2019 debut mixtape, Slayyyter only reached some sort of prominence outside super niché circles until the 2020s, her music appearing in one of the biggest talked movies of 2024, Anora. Amids this time she had just concluded the promotion tour for her second album, Starfucker. I have to admit that this was around the time Slayyyter popped into my general knowledge of existence; to recapulate her Club Valentine Tour, this was the era where she cemented her presence amongts the folks that think of themselves as music conosseiurs.
